Last Fall I accepted my first wedding gig. I never thought I'd photograph a wedding, but when the opportunity arose to photograph this one, I thought it would be a great experience. The bride and groom were amazing to work with, down to earth good people. Plus, the big day was taking place at a location I am very familiar with. All-in-all it was a great experience. We spent the day at a beautiful beach, the weather was perfect, the company was great, the newlyweds were thrilled with their photos and everything turned out great! Who knows, maybe I'll do it again sometime. Check out the highlights! There a quite a few - I promise I won't post this many photos often, if ever again, but after shooting a nine hour wedding day, there was a lot to capture!
The Wedding Party
In addition to capturing the necessary group shots of the wedding party, I also enjoy all of the in-between, candid moments. In fact, they are often my favorite. They really capture how excited the bride & groom were and how much fun they were having on their big day, all while surrounded by great friends and loved ones showing their support!
I snuck in a few quick snaps of the Bride & Groom before dinner at sunset...
A lot of fun was had and memories were made. It was a good day. And I couldn't have done it without the help of my wonderful assistant, Natasha Jamal. Below are a few snaps of us working on the wedding day. (Photo of me taken by Natasha)
