Classy Valentine Boudoir Session

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! As we all know, this is a big day to do something special with a loved one. Maybe it's with your partner, or it's just a good excuse to pamper YOURSELF with something nice for a change. In this case, it was both! One of my best friends wanted to do something nice for her boyfriend; and for the past year or so has been talking to me about wanting to get all dressed up, with hair and makeup, for some beautiful portraits. Because we're not getting any younger, right? However, for a full time chef who is also in the process of opening a brand new restaurant, and a young son with an active schedule, it can be hard to find the time to get dressed up (or dressed down for this occasion) and feel pretty and sexy.

We were out having dinner one night, talking about what she could do for a V-Day gift for her man and I suggested a printed photo book. We decided that it was time to do it, just a couple weeks before Valentine's Day! So, we booked a Sunday afternoon at the studio and made the day all about her!

Now it's my turn to get to work with the camera and lighting!

We got started with some elegant and sultry looks...

Looking great so far! As the evening progressed, and after a few sips of bourbon to loosen things up, we captured some fun moments towards the end of the set...

In the end, everyone had a great time! She had a special day to get pampered and create some stunning photos of herself that she will have forever; and she can share them with her special someone. She totally rocked this boudoir shoot. Thank you for letting me be a part of it, and for letting me share it with the world!
