My approach is simple.

I love photography and I love people! Capturing a great photograph is our goal, but it is the experience we have during a photo session that really shapes the end result. I aim to capture fun and natural moments through my lens, therefore I strive to create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere with my clients.

You may choose to do a shoot on-location at a destination of your choosing, such as your home or a nearby park, or we can organize your session at my professional indoor studio in downtown Evanston, located one block from the Main Street Metra and CTA lines.

Tips for photo shoots:

Clothing – Every shoot is different depending on location and time of year and we will discuss clothing options before your session. If you plan to incorporate multiple outfits for a shoot, organize outfits ahead of time in order to make the most efficient use of your time. 

Atmosphere - In order to help capture great photographs, it is important to feel at ease and have fun during your photo session. I encourage a setting that is comfortable and relaxed. Bring you own music, or bring toys and games to keep children entertained in between photos. Some toys may even be incorporated into the shoot!

Props – Personal props or belongings are welcome if it adds a personal touch to the photograph as long as they are not too distracting to the overall images.
